Vedant Acharya is an urban designer and architect who believes the city's most urgent problems are also its most spatial ones — and that the gap between policy and pavement is where design lives.

At INI Design Studio, Ahmedabad — ranked in WA100 Building Design 2026 — he led design development on large-scale government and tourism projects across India, advancing schemes from concept through construction documentation, with combined project value exceeding $330M.

He holds a Master of Urban Design from UC Berkeley (College of Environmental Design, 2026), where his thesis examined neuro-urban approaches to post-disaster recovery in Altadena, California. He is now seeking urban design and related roles where rigorous spatial thinking can shape how communities are built, rebuilt, and experienced.
